Our mission is to Create a FUN and challenging environment for all youth hockey players, fostering a passion for the game that leads to a happy and successful life both on and off the ice.

Located at ​3385 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, our facility features two ice rinks, a spacious, enclosed, and heated spectator viewing area on the second floor that overlooks both rinks, as well as stadium seating bleachers for fans who prefer to be closer to the action.

As a 501(c) non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, the Wheatfield Blades are members of the WNYAHL, NYSAHA, and USA Hockey. We fully support USA Hockey's ADM kids and are always open to feedback to help more people experience and enjoy the game we love.

We are excited to announce that Hockey Outlet is now under the new ownership of ASM Hockey Group, bringing a wave of exciting changes for our players, families, and the entire Blades community. As part of this transition, our home rink will be renamed to PNY North Sports Arena, marking the beginning of significant upgrades—including renovations to the second floor viewing area, a revamped snack stand, a new and larger gym, and a complete facelift of the rink. These enhancements will ensure that our facility remains a top-tier space for years to come.

We also want to take a moment to recognize and thank Tim Igo for his 50+ years of dedication to youth hockey and his invaluable contributions to the Wheatfield Blades. His passion, commitment, and leadership have shaped our program, and we are incredibly grateful for his impact. We are also pleased to announce that Courtney Igo will be managing the rink, ensuring a smooth and positive transition as we move forward.

With the incredible support of ASM Hockey Group, these upgrades, and our dedication to developing young players, the future of Wheatfield Blades has never been brighter. We are beyond excited to embark on this new chapter and continue growing our hockey family.
